Stopa takes a training plan you already have — from ChatGPT, Claude, a coach's spreadsheet, or a PDF — and pushes the workouts to your Apple Watch. Below are the questions we hear most.
Getting started
How do I import a plan?
Open Stopa, paste your plan as text, or import a file (.txt, .md, .csv, .xlsx, .pdf). Stopa parses it into a structured, week-by-week calendar. No plan yet? The in-app coach can build one, grounded in your own training — and nothing changes until you tap Apply.
Which plans work best? Anything with clear weeks and workouts — an LLM-generated plan (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini), a coach's Excel, or a published PDF. Include weekly headers and per-day workouts for the cleanest result. If a workout comes through wrong, you can edit it before saving.
How do workouts get to my Apple Watch? Once a plan is saved, Stopa pushes each structured workout to your Apple Watch via Apple's WorkoutKit, so your intervals and targets are waiting in the Workout app. A paired Apple Watch (Series 8 or later, watchOS 10+) is recommended but not required to use the app.
Apple Health
Does Stopa need Apple Health? Only if you want the feedback loop. With your permission, Stopa reads your completed workouts from Apple Health to match them against your plan (planned vs. actual, splits, heart-rate zones). Access is read-only — Stopa never writes to Apple Health, never sells your data, and never uses it for advertising. You can use the app fully without granting Health access.
Trial & subscription
Is there a free trial? Yes — 14 days of full Pro, no card required. After the trial you keep a free floor (view and edit your existing plan) or subscribe to Pro to keep importing new plans and syncing to your Watch.
What does Pro cost? $5.99/month or $49/year (annual is the better value). Stopa Pro is an auto-renewable subscription — it renews until you cancel, and payment is charged to your Apple Account at purchase.
How do I restore a purchase? On the paywall, tap Restore. This re-checks your Apple Account and re-applies an active subscription.
How do I cancel? Subscriptions are managed by Apple: on your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Stopa and cancel there. You keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
Your data & account
How do I delete my account and data? In the app: Settings → tap your profile → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your plans, thresholds, reflections, and activity history from Stopa. (Workouts already saved in Apple Health stay in your own Health app — that's your data, not our copy.)
